Svetlana Makeeva got a grant of Russian Foundation for Basic Research
The project of Svetlana Makeeva, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of the Department of Oriental and Regional Studies of the Asia-Pacific Region ISU, received a grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR). The grant will be implemented together with Vladimir Datsyshen, doctor of historical sciences, professor, and head of the Department of General History of Siberian Federal University.
Scientists have received support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research for the implementation of the scientific project 20-014-00010 “The impact of uneven development of the Russia and China regions on trans-regional bilateral cooperation: comparative historical research” according to the competitive selection of scientific projects as a winner of the competition for the best fundamental research projects.
The project is devoted to the urgent problem of interaction between Russia and China at the trans-regional level, the authors propose to analyze the impact of uneven development of regions, as well as the history of trans-regional interaction and authority of the subnational entities of the Russian Federation and People's Republic of China in the realm of directions and nature of social-economic and cultural cooperation. According to experts of RFBR Vladimir Datsyshen, member of the research team, is a well-known historian in Russia and in the world, who has rich professional experience in archives, including in the regional ones. Svetlana Makeeva is known for her publications on the development of China's regions. We wish the research team success in the project and new achievements.
