Институт филологии, иностранных языков и медиакоммуникации приглашает молодых ученых, студентов и аспирантов принять участие в новом формате программы «Академический английский язык» вместе с молодыми учеными из-за рубежа. Лагерь проводится на Байкальской биологической станции ИГУ в пос. Большие Коты с 30.07.2019 по 07.08.2019.

The summer camp is intended for Russian and foreign students and young professionals who want to improve their proficiency and communicative skills in academic English in international learning environment.

The course is taught in motivating atmosphere that allows students to develop intercultural communicative competence. The participants work with modern audiovisual materials, make presentations and are engaged in discussions, role games and communicative games.

Lecturers of the course are associate professors of the Department of English Philology of the Institute of Philology, Foreign Languages and Media Communication. In the afternoon, a tutor organizes team building activities, sport and language games.

Eligibility criterion for enrollment: mastery of the English language at B2 level and higher according to CEFR.

Speaking and writing skills using original sources, developing a research plan, adding extra information, organizing ideas, writing from research, paraphrasing, summarizing and writing a summary, linking ideas, coherent writing, writing from notes, writing about process, illustrating data, describing a chart, describing a graph, writing about data.

Стоимость обучения 14 000 руб. (обучение, проезд из Листвянки в Большие Коты и из Больших Котов в Листвянку, проживание на Байкальской биологической станции в пос. Большие Коты).
